As I stated in my first post, I've tried it in a friend's computer, and in mine on Linux, and both seem to work OK. I've hide the microsoft services and the proceeded to uncheck all boxes in the service and startup list.

Why could I run two video cards and 2 hard drives, but not one video card and 3 hard drives? So clearly the HDD2 is OK. There are no error screens or anything, the computer just freezes in place. But was the 12-24 hours a typo, did you mean 12-24 passes or am I suppose to run the program for that many hours? After restarting again, there is two ctfmon again and one of them is checked even though I unchecked everything.

I was only able to get about 8 hours in though because the computer was needed. After reformatting I only installed the following: MS office, malwarebytes, avast antivirus, msn messenger, firefox, google chrome, and an online game.

  1. Check the Boot Priority Sequence to be sure that HDD2 is NOT showing at all in the list of devices to try to boot from.
