As she's told me thus far; the SMTP port is 25 and the POP3 port is 110; which are defaults, in my experience. I'm glad you asked about the live mail client working previously. The fix was to delete the saved password (from Mozilla's list of saved passwords), so apparently the problem was that the password record had been corrupted. I have read the forums I can find and NONE of the so-called fixes do a thing to address my problem. Live mail was working properly with the existing settings.
