Windows 7 Firewire Driver

Actually cables are very delicate rubber material. But it actually it could be thier local hardware or software problem or anything. My driver on "vista home premium" said that it also worked too on the system drivers, but it didn't. Please share with the world where to find such an adaptor that has the 4-pin input.
