If you can't access your hard drive, Recover My Files might be able to do what its name implies. So, maybe I missed something, or your instructions can have an edit…. Win 7 updated with the rollup, but stalled on updating further after everything was done, ( yes I left it running for a couple of hours) so I left it overnight, Yes,, I created an image so this will never happen to me again !!
