It fixed my problem (removed rootkit.w32) http://www.forospyware.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe Important: * Disable all anti-virus/firewall progs prior to run Combofix * Right-click on link above and "save as" to your desktop and run Anyone on this forum should really try this option first, my opinion anyway. if you do have it, you might want to delete it. The error message will come again and again. Both computers are connected to the internet via the same router.

These bot PCs are usually infected then sold or rented to third parties by the virus writers. This will fix windows defender update issue as well... I'm lost.
Lordy, windows sucks. Click Start, click Run, type in "SERVICES.MSC" and press Enter. 2. I manage to resolve the update problem completely with this utility TDSSKiller.exe. Yep!
