Changing to Details in View changes all the external hard drives as well. Unfortunately viruses, spyware, and hijackers often hide there files in this way making it hard to find them and then delete them. I even tried RegSnap with no luck. My attempts to copy, print, send, etc. I typically select Show hidden files and folders and uncheck Hide extensions for known file types. because we want to save these settings for our users at logoff, and apply them again in a next session at logon.
