Once again I killed the two msiexec.exe programs and then immediately uninstalled OMCI. At first, this gave me the error message about another installation being in progress. Then I'll return. That took me to the Processes tab and highlighted the actual process I needed to dump. have a peek here

This poster was able to uninstall it in Windows 7 but had to do an initial step before it was completely removed. You can not save these files to the bootable USB without some prior customization, so I suggest a second USB drive or just saving them to a folder on your desktop. I went to the Roxio website, and BackOn Track was not listed among their products. You could try the uninstall but I would only do this if you had a XP install disk. I found the msiexec.exe on the task manager/ services part. OK - Now I did try to specifically run as administrator only to find that I had exceeded the allowed number of installation attempts.
That may get the cleanup utility to start. Even on another machine. I had to put in the BlackBerry Install CD and point the installer to that file on the CD. this contact form I set the service to disabled for the time being.
