I ended up moving all my media from D: across to C: which took around 4 hours to complete, then re-formatted D:, before copying it all back across to D: again. Open Programs and Features, Click 'Turn Windows features on or off', open up Media Features and untick Windows Media Player. I've tried removing and re-adding the folders and re-building the library, but that didn't help. If your libraries locations becomes unresponsive then you will not be able to add new location folders, change default save location or any other modification will not be updated in the pop over to these guys
