Issue #1: "It does not work" Vista apparently sucks and does not work properly. Until that, if I have some compelling need to upgrade to Vista, I will. It's also difficult to find a more objective point of view on how Vista compares to other operating systems, like Mac OS X which has lately gained a lot of popularity. I'll back up the data on my machine using the free version of Macrium Reflect (a great program) and then install a squeaky clean version of Vista64. navigate here

This is probably the case I am going to have with XP to Vista transformation - I'm going to wait as long as I can before switching. I hardly use the start menu at all, so I can't really say that it's better or worse in functionality than XP's. I click on it, select the updates I want, agree to never be asked again about the ones I didn't want, and then it downloads them.
