This may be the wrong board to be requesting help...but...I thought Sfc was supposed to tell you if windows files have been modified. I am having severe eye problems and cannot post. If you run the utility while you're logged into Windows XP: Open Command Prompt. Also make sure it's actually an SP2 disk.

IS it possible that the 9 or 10 hotfixes have something to do with preventing scannow or are demanding sp2 be added?
